Am I in trouble? Need Help

Hello all my phone has just taken a phone for the worst. For a little while my phone would overheat, would drop calls etc. etc.

I took my phone in to sprint and they asked to do a hard reset and they said it was the battery. I tried to use my backup to restore my info and it won't even accept them. The one that it will accept doesn't even load all of my programs. it will show the symbols for them but none of them will activate. I get the red x icon whenever I try to run a program. I mean keylight won't even work. I took the phone to sprint with this problem and they can't tell me anything. This time they said couldn't hard reset it and test because they didn't ask. Feel like I am getting screwed. Am I destined to start from scratch and update all of my info and programs again or is their something wrong with my phone and sprint should be helping to compensate me because I do have insurance.

Well....just finished a reset yesterday. I wiped it clean and restored from a month old backup.

Anyway....have you looked in ActiveSync/Tools/Add Remove Programs. You may get some of them back by simply enabling them there.

If not hopefully you have copies of all your apps and registration codes for the paid ones. I recently made a spreadsheet listing of all my apps and codes (was glad I did yesterday)

yeah I made a spreadsheet of my programs and codes but that will be so time consuming to replace all of that information on my phone. some of the info that i saved in i.e. codewallet I don't think I have all of that info saved and that is why I was trying to use an older back-up. I will look into the active sync process that you suggested but I think that will be a dead end as well but at this point I am willing to try anything. Thanks.

I did a hard reset...restored from a old backup...then synched...had to put a check mark next to newer programs in add/remove that were added since that backup. Then went in and had to register those same apps again. Good Luck...get on Palringo if you get stuck.
