Sprint 700WX 1.15 A2DP Update and Motorola S9

Hi,

I wonder if anyone here has Sprint 700WX with 1.15 update (A2DP) and Motorola S9 combo?

I found a problem when the two paired up and in standby mode for an hour (paired and both on, but there is no activity between the two, i.e. no activity of the phone such as key press etc to generate sound, no stream music and phone calls of course, basically no sound or music transmitted to the S9), the connectivity of the two would be broken then. I wonder if this is the normal behavior for A2DP device since my Motorola HS850 Bluetooth hands free does not have this problem. I'm kind of suspecting that it is 700wx driver issue since there is no other problem with the S9. If there is any activity between the two, then the disconnect timer is reset but 1 hour limit is still there. It is very consistent and I can reproduce it every time I try.

Jeff

I have the Moto S9 and it is working like a charm on my Treo 700wx.

The headset manual did say it would auto-shutdown after an hour of non-use. All I do is hold down the power button for three seconds, it powers back up and reconnects immediately to my Treo. I watch the bluetooth icon on my phone change from blue to silver and I can start listening to music immediately.

I also have the 1.15 update installed directly from Palm's site.

Thanks! Looks like this is S9 specific behavior. When I called Motorola CS, they seems having no clue and just open an exchange ticket.
