i was using pdanet for the bluetooth dun capability but it was pretty unstable. it locked up not only when i tried to download large files but it seemed to lock up when i tried to login to ftp's and things were happening "too fast".

i switched to using the usb cable and sprint connection manager and everything has been fine but it seems to be locking up again. it takes more to do it but has started happening again.

i read malatesta's post talking about changing the tcp window size to 32768 in the registry.....how much does this degrade the speed of the connection, and where is the key file at in the registry? or is there some other way to alleviate this problem.

I cannot connect after the upgrade to 1.15, using BT or USB. I used to be able to connect to both. This sucks. You think Sprint now has a check to see if you have the phone as a modem plan enabled?

I upgraded to 1.15 for some reason last week and i havent tested out the tethering untill now. I am having the same problem, i cant tether anymore. I do notice that with 1.15 i have more bars, but more bars and no tethering doesnt help me much. Anyone know how to go back to 1.13?

I am also having this problem..... even with Sprint Connection Mannager. Does Sprint have any solution. Palm took out the Verizon version because it had issues. Sprint have to do sometime, or even Palm. This is not fair!

Unhappy Phone Connection Link or 1.22 interference?

I'm seeing a problem where Phone Connection Link software from a previously installed PPC phone (non-Treo) is "claiming" my Sprint Treo (recognizing via USB before it gets recognized as a modem). This usually leads to a 678 error when attempting to connect. Could it be software from this previous PPC is interfering with the connection, or might it be the latest 1.15 update that is preventing tethering?

Has anyone successfully connecting using this method with the latest 1.22 update? If not, does this alternative method work with 1.15?:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=2882

Alternatively, I'd like to downgrade to 1.13 until 1.22 comes out. Can anyone help with such a downgrade?

Any advice very much appreciated.
