Ok, I read and followed the instructions.
I get my computer to detect my 700wx and I go to network connection. i click on Network Connections than Make a new connection/next/connect to internet/set up manually/connect using dial up modem. This brings up a page that shows the available modems chose the 700wx. Go to next ISP name is sprint/next telephone number is #777/next user name and password leave blank next/finish. I get error code 680 when i try to dial-up? What now? |

Quick question for those who have this working:
What is your TCP Window Size (found under the registry or using SK Tools)? The "stable" setting is 32768 and the "performance" is 98304 Using 98304 in PDANet I think is what causes instablity with the connection, that is you get a buffer overflow of some-sort. This is often a common 'tweak' though so I wouldn't be surprised if many do this. So what are people using with this manual method? I would like to keep 98304 for better performance but I don't want crashes either (main reason I'm switiching from PDAnet). |

What exactly does that mean? I followed all the connections but my modem wont work. Then my phone shuts off. Can anyone give advice? |

I discovered that the only way in order to get the computer to recognize the treo as an actual modem is to do a test dial via the sprint PCS connection manager,
How and where do you find this? when i plug in the usb cable it doesnt seem to make a connection and the phone turns off after a minute. Please Help with advice. |

I did this setup last night and got it working.
You just have to make sure a) the device is on b) your device shows up as a modem I didn't have to the "test dial" with Sprint to get it to work. Now I just have to see if it's more stable than PDANet... |
