Double messages (text)

I'm a noob.

When I get a text I get one in SMS, and another in 'Messaging'. I'd like to get rid of one. Now today, I got a 'notification' text. When I opened SMS... ding...there is the text. Driving me nuts.

Is 'Messaging' a part of Hotmail? Either way, I'd like to get rid of this Hotmail notification too. I somehow set this up, but now can't get rid of it. I don't need to get my e-mail this way, so if I do want to check it, I'll just use IE.

I did install the threaded SMS app to my Sprint 700wx.

It seems you may have missed a step when installing the threaded SMS app. Please head over to that post and make sure you followed every step EXACTLY.

santos, that did the trick. Hopefully this will stop the hotmail messages too.
