Palm Threaded SMS Program for WM5: Beta 4 (Update 11/21)

Palm Threaded SMS Application for WM5

WARNING!: This is not for newbies
(per MsTreoDiva)

We are no longer hosting the Palm Threaded SMS due to intellectual property, you will have to find other means of getting it!
(and I, Malatesta do NOT have it, so don't PM me )

Latest Release: 11/06/06 (Beta 4)

- Version #1: Beta4.zip (includes softkey change)
- Version #2: Beta 4 No SMS left softkey version (NEW! 12/1)

Status of Application
:
(Thanks: Hannip & Blend)

- Fixed mail file attachment bug (NEW! 11/06)
- Send in chat fixed (no more hang in outbox)
- Fixed missing Inbox today plugin
- Adds Inbox and Messaging shortcuts to Start Menu and Programs
- Changes left softkey on the today screen to SMS and gives option for SMS or Messaging(Inbox)
- Adds "EmailCenterNumber"="6245"
- SMS box deleted in Outlook
- Works with Verichat
- Full intergration with system
- Space reduction (< 3mb total install)
- No error messages

Current Known Issues/To Do:

- Fix MMS out of memory error
- Fix Add Media audio recording

Directions
:

Download .cab file attached to post. You MUST BE Registered AND Logged in to SEE the attached file!

Make sure you backup.

Make sure you DO NOT have any UNREAD messages before installing the application.

Turn off phone radio to avoid installation conflicts (messages arriving during installation).

Install .cab

Using RescoExplorer or TotalCommander, make sure "Show all System files" is engaged.

Copy all files (13) from \Program Files\Palm Messaging over to \Windows on your device, overwriting your system ROM files (you'll get a serious Warning message. Continue to copy over.).

Soft reset and your Palm Messaging should be working. You may delete \Program Files\Palm Messaging after the soft reset and the program is confirmed working.

Read the attached .readme file for more information.

IF you experience any problems e.g. message not sending, notifications not working, auto-complete not working, old messaging app taking over, etc....

YOU DID NOT INSTALL CORRECTLY AND MISSED A FILE TO COPY OVER

This I assure you!

BONUS!

Map your Left SoftKey to PalmMessaging AND Email! (Now INCLUDED with Beta 4; only good for Beta 3 or less!)

Read HERE! for information and .cab file!

Does anyone setup MMS correctly?

Thanks

Network Profile Default?

I tried and it says Out Of Memory.
Not enough memory to complete this operation. Please close some open windows and try again.
