Did you try uninstalling sktools? See if that affects it?

How about tweaks2k2? You said you have it installed, there is an option in the to "pass as IE 6.0" make sure its not checked in there either. Sounds like you have a cross reference somewhere

Never fixed it, I think SK Tools is the culprit. I even checked the reg entries but they all seemed ok. I'm sure a hard reset will fix it, but I'm too lazy to hard reset.
