what u can also do is activate modem link program with the usb connection on ur phone, then connect your phone to the sync cable and plug it up to ur computer....

windows should automatically recognize the phone as new hardware named phone treo modem....

after the hardware comes up u can either the cd that came with ur treo or use the option of searching through the internet to find the software needed to install the modem

once the wizard is complete, go to your network connections and create a new connection....choose to pick manually and u should find it along with ur other modems...name it sprint...put the number as #777...leave the username and password screen exactly how it is(should be blank) push ok.....then push connect should automatically connect....i have never had one problem with this...

as far as people getting errors with the modem being busy or not found that usually is from not having the phone as modem plan....when i first started i didnt have it and would get that error 9 times out of 10 then it would finally connect....after i got the pam plan it connects the first time everytime....
