Lol The pre's today screen is only a wallpaper. You can't add anything to it. The only thing you can customize is 4 programs on the launcher bar. If you wanna see wallapapers use google images :P im such a buzz-kill.

AFAIK, right now u can't change the launcher icon,
but you can drag any of the others off like drybonz said

and then once you've removed one or more
you can add ANY icon from the laucher simply via drag and drop

to anyone that has a pre just an FYI... (didnt see it mentioned)
to take screenshots with the Pre, you simply hold the Orange, Sym, and P keys
