Having trouble getting the bin file 1.3 M2d ROM into my phone. I'm trying to go through ActiveSync but a message comes up when I try to Sync the file that Windows cannot open the file (make sure you have permission, make sure it is not read only, etc.) Where to go next.........?

Exeldent have you flashed your phone to the leaked VZW CC20 ROM? Did you forget about UMDL?.

You cannot use Sync to flash a ROM. See the bottom of post 1.

This might be a stupid question but....

I have never used M2D except with Adrynalyne's 1.2 M2D ROM. It's cool but... I don't know... I haven't made a decision yet. I kind of like the basic today screen because I use PhoneAlarm Pro. Anyway. I know there is a 19b installer cab for M2D but I'm wondering what other stuff is installed also in the ROM (I know rotation service is). I'm thinking about installing the cab and thatway I have the choice of removing it if I decide I don't like it.

Anybody got $.02 about this?

Ok, I found why it shows up, but I am not interested in including it in my rom unless it works. I doubt it does anything, as its an HTC specific gps registry setting. I will be more than happy to supply a cab and let you fine folks play with it.

Is there anyway to make the youtube link in M2D, link to the actual Offical Youtube app that I have installed on my phone?

BTW, I have M2D 1.2

**Edit** Nevermind I figured it out. I just removed the contents of the youtube folder on the device, and replaced it with the contents of the offical youtube app. I also renamed the youtube.exe to youtubeplay.exe

Thank you sooo much. I finally was able to download the 1.3 version but I lost everything, so I went back to 1.2 and finally was able to find my backup data and was finally able to get back to where it was before. It took a lot of heartache and effort to get back to this. I must say that I was very upset to think that I lost all this data. I just got lucky..... I'll keep trying. Thanks for all of your input, buddy.

i did that to at first to get the feel of m2d, but it takes up so much room!
