Hey Adrynalyne,

I thought I would give you a follow up of my bluetooth issues. After flashing back and forth between your roms and the stock one 5 or 6 times, I decided to try out Wozzer's rom. With his I was able to access my phonebook and use the file transfer service just like the stock rom. So I don't know what's different about yours. With your rom I have no problem beaming a file out. Also headset feature works fine too. But trying to access files on the phone from an outside source seems to be the problem. I'm attaching a screen shot from my computer. The items that I circled are not available with your rom. I don't know if these issues are just related to the hardware in my phone since nobody else has complained. I just wanted to report what I found out.

Kind of sucks because I like everything else about your rom better.:( But I need to be able to have working bluetooth. Hopefully when the official rom comes out I won't have these issues with your rom, if you make one that is.

Anyways, keep up the good work!

Hey Adrynalyne, I having the same issues, I'm trying to transfer my phone number's from another phone via bluetooth, because windows 7 doesn't like syncing with my omnia. Like stated before, the two phones will pair successfully, and allow you to save the devices on both phones. The problem comes in when you try to send anything, you get an error stating that you need to refresh the connection, because it's unavailable. Then you get another error saying "You device did not connect with <insert device name>. The connection failed or the passcode is incorrect." Now I've checked the passcode several times, tried using both default codes ( 0000 or 8888 ) and it says it paired successfully. I also installed Office on the omnia from the Repos, like you suggested, but to no avail. Just figured you should know! Great work other than that everything seems to be fine, I just gotta go in and add my own personal touches to my phone lol

I can't get UMDL to detect my phone. Should I have turned the "allow USB connections" setting back on after I connected and turned on the phone?

Do you have Office installed?

Install it from the repo on the first page, if not.

Also, I will attach the bluetooth files I removed. I can't imagine them helping...but perhaps.

Extract the files to \Windows.

What are the chances you are using a non-english OS, in your car?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I installed the office cab you posted a few pages back (didn't try the one from the repo though). The bluetooth in my car is just a JVC headunit (USA English). I will try the files this evening when I get home from work. I don't have the tools here to flash back to your rom.

Edit: Here is a better screen shot. The 2 circled item are dimmed out with Adry1.0 rom. They are the file transfer and object push.

Re: Adrynalyne's Base and M2D ROMs v. 1.1

Ok--I have identified the problem and fixed it.

Things I cannot resolve, which also remain an issue with the beta rom:

Choosing connect under bluetooth menu gives a passcode or connection failure.

I did however, receive a file fine having it beamed to and from my computer. I was also able to beam to and fro contacts with another phone.

These issues were prevalent with the beta rom, and as such, will pre-exist in mine as well. However, the other issues should be resolved, which will hopefully alleve some bluetooth struggles.

Check Post 1 and 2 for updates shortly.

Yes, the beta rom does have some problems with the bluetooth also. For example: I can't get the serial port to stay connected. It connects then immediately disconnects. But if the file transfer is working now with yours, I will be one happy camper!:headbang:

Can't wait to test.

Uploading now. Slow connection, so don't expect it immediately.
