no. C'mon, it took them a year to release a Rev 0 PalmOS device! :P Quote:
I mean understand, the title of this thread is "750w to be available to Sprint and Verizon!", which heavily implies that there has been some sort of confirmation or it is actually somewhat factual, when all it seems like is extreme speculation. Had you thrown a question mark at the end of that, it would have been a little more reasonable Either way, we can wait till Andrew says something about the whole deal. |

My only issue is this...
Its understood that the 750v is NOT an upgrade to the 700wx. More like a slim version of the latter. The 700's were NEVER released anywhere in a GSM version, so why would anyone expect this phone to be released in a CDMA version? If a firmware update DOES come out fot the 700w's (which I sincerely hope happens for all of you) it will most likely have threaded SMS and bluetooth improvements (MOST LIKELY, I'm just speculating). If so, this device will be in no way inferior to the 750. The AKU will probably be higher than the 750's 2.3 anyway. I just can't see this phone being released as a CDMA phone down the road, Palm has gotten away from universal devices for some strange reason. |

Palm chose to make a GSM version for the rest of the world. Here in Europe I can't use CDMA-versions. We never got the 700 over here. That is probably also the reason why they introduced it in Europe first and the rest of the world later.
Plus there still are issues with the Cingular Rom. So I wonder when the 750 will actually be available in the states.
