Sprint debuts EV-DO Rev. A today

I've been doing a lot of reading about the 6700 in preparation of receiving mine. I'm confused as to why anyone would want to watch videos of any kind on it when everything I've read about the battery results in one having to either buy an extended one or always have a charger near by.

What is the fun in that? or am I missing something?

I still dont understand how can you put out rev.a and you still dont have evdo in several other cities. For instance, some parts of texas and all of Louisiana doesnt even have standard evdo coverage

Yeah, I'm smack in the middle of Central IL and we don't have EVDO either.

Not that I'm bragging, but my little town of 18,000 went EVDO a week ago.
