Re: Sprint losses and customer defections continue

I'm sticking with Sprint.
I have a family simply everything pan and I love it.
I pay just over 100 bucks (employer discount included). Unlimited everything except for 1500 land line minutes which I share with my wife.
I have been yanked to the mall quiosks (is that how you spell that?) by the hot chicks in there. They ask me if they can beat my plan would I switch to their network. They haven't beat it yet.
I used to have 4 lines and each addl is only 10 bucks more.
150 for 4 unlimited lines...
It would suck to have to switch.
I don't think anyone would buy them out... But if ATT did... I would have to look around.

Re: Sprint losses and customer defections continue

I love Sprint. I wonder who is going end up buying them out? It doesn't look good on them continuing if they keep losing customers. I beleive that if Sprint started as a new company today with a new name they would have a better image.

Re: Sprint losses and customer defections continue

I actually made a thread about this in the Touch Pro forum (probably the wrong place) I love Sprint too because I personally have had a really good experience with them and I recommend them to anyone I know but I think I know where they are getting their butt's kicked... They have really high priced up front (phones) costs. Sure your plan is cheaper but your average Joe blow just looks at the fact he can get an Iphone for $100 from AT&T or a TP2 from Verizon or US Cellular for $199 while Sprint wants almost double that. People really don't look to the future enough to see that they will actually save $$ with Sprint. Take a look at the competitions stock and it's hard to argue my point. I mean if they cut prices on their phones they will lose profit per customer but they would start to gain new customers to offset it. This is just my $.02 on the matter.

Which is now double the cost of a new TP2 (w/2 year) on AT&T from Walmart.

Either that or do something to the effect of what t-mobile does and allow people to space the cost of the phone out over 3 months rather than just all up front. Now that i'm not working there and dont get my free plan anymore i'm probably going to switch to Verizon. Higher plans I know, but better coverage and i'm considering the droid.

Re: Sprint losses and customer defections continue

I'll stick with my high priced Verizon 3G coverage everywhere I go. My co-workers always complain about not being able to get a good signal on their Sprint BB, and AT&T Iphone. I connect instantly and they play musical chairs to find a decent signal LOL... I know this is not the case everywhere but I hear about it more often than now, even in this thread.

Re: Sprint losses and customer defections continue

I think you definitely get what you pay for with Verizons coverage. If Sprint had good coverage in all the places I go then it would be stupid to not save money with them, but they dont, so I pay more to have my precious 3G everywhere I go.

BTW: brownhornet, if you get the Droid you wont regret it, I've always been kind of a WM loyalist but was unable to resist the Droid. WM7 is going to have to be nothing less than amazing to get me back.
