Re: Great SenseUI Alternative!

im having some problems getting this to work.

I installed Pointui.Home2.VGA.WVGA.Pro.Latest.cab

then I installed the pointsense cab

then I selected home2 in today settings, then disabled it, then re-enabled it, then I got a thing telling me to enter the pro code, so I hit cancel, then I went to menu>customize>change theme, then I select pointsense, but when home2 restarts, its the same screen, and no matter how many times i try to change theme to pointsense, it wont give me the hero theme, ive soft reset and such. any ideas?

You just need to follow the instructions I posted in post #107 and it will work.

I would try to uninstall everything and start all over. I had issues the first time I installed it also.

Re: Great SenseUI Alternative!

So I took a look through the applet store on the community tab on pointui's site, but didnt see a search applet. It looks like they are having a contest to have people make applets for the new point home 2. Someone has already made a PointSense twitter applet that looks really good. Just need a search applet that uses google and launches opera.

Re: Great SenseUI Alternative!

ok I can't figure out how to disable that. I did add only pointsense items though, I get the top half of what im looking for, but its black and white. the bottom half is weird looking and Im not sure how to disable that weird plugin, no non-pointsense applets are added, any ideas?

Re: Great SenseUI Alternative!

Guys the .cab version ( 7,8,9,10 ) are older... I suggest using the Zip versions which is newer.

If you already installed and it isn't working, trying uninstalling everything and deleting \Program Files\Home 2

Register at Pointui if you haven't yet.

Download :
http://www.pointui.com/products/home-2/
PointSense.VGA.WVGA.zip ( Includes both PointSense & PointSense.Home 1.1.0.1)

Install Home 2, accept the terms and hit cancel on license part if you haven't purchased the pro version. Unzip using pocket rar or w/e, Install PointSense.Suit then PointSense.Home, Soft Reset.

Go into the Menu -> Cuztomize :

Change Theme - > PointSense ( Home 2 Restarts )
Full Screen -> Yes
Show Notifications -> No

Press and Hold the Plus key ( + ) :
Show Title Bar : yes

Press the Plus Key ( + ) :
Remove all the Apps listed (Not wanted) and add the PointSense Apps, The order you set them is how they are displayed in the pages.

Press and hold the 4 Shortcuts above the bottom taskbar to delete them, Press and hold the blank spots to add your own.

The weather you'll need to first add your city in the Weather App then select it in your Today, Also set it to F* and update the Intervals. I showed how to add your city here:

I thinks i covered everything... Hope ya enjoy

*The setting i listed is how i have mines setup
