I'm not certain if there are any significant differences, but the secondary processor is slower in the 7600... maybe this means better battery life? I've heard the TP2 has MUCH better battery life.

I took the time to call up a bunch of Telus stores and see what they know about the release of the touch pro 2. Some of them were clueless, yet to my surprise a lot of them said anywhere from Monday next week to Mid next week.

Lets continue to keep our fingers crossed.

It will likely be into August. The TP2 was just released to the cell carriers today by HTC. Now, what has to happen is for the carriers to receive those into their warehouses, get them into their systems and then shipped out to stores for sale and for telesales.

The second week of August looks like a good guess for those to actually be available.

That's my story and I'm stickin to it! Take your best shot!

that's good news!
...but the bad news is that most reps don't know their A$$ from their shoe. Hence, the conflicting reports and general confusion.

PLEEEEAAASSEEE be released on monday! (or sooner, that'd be cool)
