i know it has a bigger battery, but it also has a bigger,better screen-id expect the same battery issues on TP2 as the original TP

Meh, it's all speculation at this point really. ALl the carriers' TP2s will be different and they'll all have their own issues. From the reviews I've seen the battery life is better on the EU model, but nobody here in North America has even seen the specs of our models yet. ...only time will really tell!

I'm hoping Bell will get it shortly afterwards as I really don't want to switch carriers...no matter how much I want the phone. I'm using a TP and was surprised to read the OP say the TP2 was bigger than the TP, so I went checking and I was really surprised by how much bigger it is

TP according to HTC's site:
102 mm (L) X 51 mm (W) X 18.05 mm (T)

TP2 according to HTC's site:
116 X 59.2 X 16.65 mm

14mm longer & 8mm wider but it's actually ever so slightly thinner , and to me that's the important measurement. Not a deal breaker for me!!!

I like that its taller & longer, it's cause of the massive new screen. for me, thats a dealMAKER!!

It's only listed in the 'ONTARIO' part of the site. If you choose any other province as your location, there is no indication of the TP2 'coming soon'.
