Re: Google Plan To Destroy Windows Mobile

If WM7 looks anything like the zune hd as far as the ui goes, they have plenty of social network integration, do not lose the enterprise stuff that appeals to corporations, start getting the app developers to come back to winmo more, and manufacturers start making devices with superior chipsets we will see windows mobile enjoy a lot more success.

As it is, they are seeing growth despite the fact that everyone on the internet bashes wm.

Re: Google Plan To Destroy Windows Mobile

I for one dont want adds of any kind on my phone period. Take a look at what happened to netzero. They offered free internet connection via dialup. Thier downfall was that in order to have this free service, you had to have adds constantly streaming. If you clicked off that stream, it terminated your connection.

People will at first see this as a godsend as it might put cell phones at a lower cost. But after a while, people will get sick and frusterated at the bandwidth use, sluggishness as it will eat up your ram, and constantly having to exit out of adds to get where they need to be. MS is a true consumer OS. Might not be the best but it is still for US. Google on the other hand is an enterprise solution. They generate thier revenue off of adds. MS updates thier software to make it better, smoother, more user friendly for the most part and all we have to do is buy a product they produce, with no adds. Google will offer the same, but at what cost? Lost productivity as adds will get in the way, more bandwidth usage, and generally an eye sore.

It's up to the consumer which way they wanna follow. I for one will not jump on that bandwagon for as long as I possibly can.
