Found here, this is an excerpt from an e-mail by Sprint to a customer... Emphasis mine..

Although, no official release date has been declared for the upgrade.

Well for me if the tp2 is not out before they upgrade the tp rom than I'll flash the new one to my tp and be waiting for the tp2. If the tp2 comes out before the new rom than I'll get the tp2 than flash the tp with the new rom so if I sale it they will have the newest rom
