Re: Batteries that last years
I don't need a batt. To last years...just need my htc phone to have the batt of my Nokia N95 8gb phone...now that is a batt of champions! Ok off the charger in my draw til 6pm grab the phone...online using the net on the phone and listening to mp3's for a couple of hrs, downloading themes for it online. Than listening to internet radio for HOURS til I go to bed might take one bar off it. 2nd example take a long trip...off the charge geo tagging pics, taking pics of everything, using gps,and wifi when I can not even a dent in the batt life...nokia must be on something cause I been using nokia for years and they always had the best batt life out of any phone I ever owned hands down.

Re: Batteries that last years
There is new battery tech coming to allow batteries to recharge in a very short time. Maybe a small charger can be incorporated into the next gen battery to allow self-charging like a self-winding watch?
