Seriously? we get access to leaked software and a few people download it. But NOT ONE single person backed up their phone, and everyone flashed a new rom? Im starting to think this was a hoax. unless someone coms up with a cab of the leaked software, im calling this a hoax.

yea doesnt work, must need reg entries. hopefully we can get a cab for everything before it goes live. people with 6.1 could use it then. i think microsoft will have software compatible with 6.5 and older, just themes and some software wont work. also they wont offically release marketplace for 6.1 but thats what were here for

hmmmm... ok but i do wonder... when you downloaded pandora, did it work, were you able to hear music??? it would have been badass if you would have uploaded it for everyone.....

Ok I thought that the marketplace had been up for a while yesterday when I clicked on the icon in my rom and it loaded the cab. I installed it and then played in the menus for about 30 minutes. I did download the facebook app and a couple others that I didn't keep. They all worked when I installed them. I tried to log back on last night and got an error that my version was obsolete and to get the newer version. I haven't been able to find anywhere that I can get a newer version. I figured I would add some information to the conversation. If I find anything I will post it here as an edit to this post.

That is exactly what happened to me. You all can think that it was a hoax or not, I really don't care. But that is what happened to me. I can say that I clicked on Pandora App it installed a CAB and then I kept looking through the listed apps and did not even attempt to open the program. It wasn't a big deal to me it was just the first FREE (like I said most apps were paid apps) that caught my eye and I was familiar with the name. Most of the apps were paid games (Super Street Fight 2 included for $19.99) or paid utilities. The one app that I can say that I downloaded and installed and tried to play with was some sort of Visual Voicemail app. It didn't work. A new program was on my list, when I opened it there was where a list would be (but obviously it was blank) the left soft key said PLAY. The right soft key said MENU or OPTIONS, when pressed there was a list to turn on/off download auto and other things. I tried leaving myself voicemails like 5 times but it would never show up in the list. That's when I started the hard reset process. After a couple times of installing Marketplace and trying to reinstall the Vis VM software, it gave me the error saying the Marketplace server was down.

Here is more updates, Marketplace is finally open for Devs to start uploading their Apps.
