Re: mail2web live will cost atfter may 1,2009
I also can't find another service exactly like mail2web and will end up paying the 5 bucks. For such an awesome service, I really can't complain. That and I'm way to dependent on mail2web and dont want to change my email addy on everything I use.
It's way to convenient to be able to add tasks and appointments to my phone through through the web when I'm not able to sync with a computer. |

People using Seven will notice a few international text messages on their bill, unless Seven has changed something. I can't remember the reason behind it, but it is true.

Re: mail2web live will cost atfter may 1,2009
The whole international text message thing is really getting blown out of proportion. Seven uses SMS to validate the email accounts you set up with their servers. Unfortunately, their servers are set up in the UK. Hence the international text message. It only happens the first time you need to set up your account though, so its a $0.20 "service fee" for each email address you use. That's crazy better than $5 every single month. And it works really well, so for those who haven't given it a try, I recommend that you do before committing to a monthly bill.

Re: mail2web live will cost atfter may 1,2009
Wow what a bummer this turned out to be. I was using mail2web as a nice catch all email on my phone, having several pop accounts forwarded to it.
Well I decided to go with the basic free service. THe damn server has been down and no access to my email in anyway since then. THat was about 2 days ago. I can login but then it is just an error screen. Absolute frikking mayhem and no really good excuse or explanation offered. Just simply as soon as converting to the basic service, no more activesync, no email being sent and can't check it via Webmail either. No access to account settings or anything else. Totally sucks and it's obvious I can't rely on them so no way I will upgrade now that they did this. |
