its sad for me to think like this but ahh well.. Ill speak my mind. I thnk that was a dumb idea on their part. But like any other rental company tehy will learn their lesson. Like rent a center, Rent a tire, and aarons and that $1 movie stuff at the McDonalds, someones gonna find a quick way to scam em and have extra phones, and i may be the one to buy em and give it to someone as a present. Working and all. Theres always someone who can do something to the ESn numbers

. Sorry i thought like that but its the truth. Someone will scam em.

I thought it was a ok idea. having the abilty to try out a new phone with out buying. for me it would work out I normally keep my phone less than a couple of months. so im usally dishing out big bucks for a new one. so instead of me buying that new phone I can just get my fix using it for a while. I don't think the idea will work that good with cdma based phone. but I do see the potential of big scams

And thats how I was thinking. If I can rent the phone for 20 bucks to try it out before I buy it, it might be a good idea. But then again like you guys said, I'm sure someone will find a way to scam em.

Its not them that needs to worry its the consumer who will get stuck with weird charges for all sorts of bull

they probably have the sickest most ridiculous binding contract out there...Sign here

If its legit I think it would be kinda useful. I wouldn't mind being to try out a new phone for a month, then switching to a different one after that. It'd be cool to experience all the different types out there.

I read about this on rcrwireless. I think this may be a good try before you buy type thing or for someone who say lost, broke, or had their expensive ppc device stolen and didn't buy the insurance. Especially if you on had a few months till your carrier offered a whatever credit they do at the time of contract renewal. I couldn't see myself paying for 24 months on this though. I don't need a new phone every month that bad.

this kinda reminds me of when i got a prepaid cell.it seems like a great idea,but when you run down on minutes you never have the money to get more!that's what this sounds like.

This sounds like the new Rent-A-Rim store that just opened up here in Yuma. If you cant afford to buy the phone/Rims, and its not needed then just dont get it. Its this kind of crap that has everyone in debt, Although this would be nice for the guys living in the RV park with an escalade on 22's. What a joke.
