If your wondering how i know this...its just common sence on my part (plus the TOUCH HD is huge! Plus, when the touch pro came out...it was first shown on the HTC website around this time last year. Sprint got it in Nov...which i think is their 3rd Q (Q3) THe major difference was that it had a camera on the front AND the back, so im sure this touch pro 2 will come out around Nov. If it doesnt...or if sprint comes out with their version of the blackstone (same size and all)....i will go out and buy it...and eat my touch pro...which will pis my mom off cuz i promised it to her!
Make sure to eat some fiber first.

Diamond 2 is standing in the back and letting TP2 take the shine.

Re: Sprint getting HTC Rhodium

I dont know is this fact has been posted yet, bu the TP2 will be gsm/hspda as well as CDMA rev a.............. Sprints roadmap on www.phonedog.com has the basic facts listed with pictures of the phone! looks pretty sweet so far! Also htc did make a wimax htc touch phone for Russias yoda network, so maybe we will see the same thing with a CDMA radio for sprint??? only time will tell...........

it is not much work to change cpu/memory but frame size is a whole different change. unless sprint is not getting Pro2 but something else?
it makes more sense in terms of usability. If you have used any of the enhancements that have been leaked, then you know that the phone is way more finger friendly, so no need for a stylus. Now that there will not be much need for a stylus then a bigger screen is definitely needed. That is one of the things thats helping the iphone is because its screen is so much bigger and nicer. windows has been unable to make a screen that big because they still needed a directional pad for navigating. since its finger friendly now no need for a directional pad, the bigger screen is definitely a necessity to compete with the iphone.

Hopefully Sprint thinks the same. The only big reason to upgrade, at least myself, to Pro2 is the screen size. like you said, bigger screen is a huge benefit for finger friendly UI and less scrolling or zooming. the result is a much better phone experience. iphone got the right size at the beginning, no wonder it got a hug success. WM needs bigger screen and support capatative touch screen, instead of resistance.

Re: Sprint getting HTC Rhodium

Anybody heard on the thickness of the Rhodium? I'm dreaming it will be as slim as the Diamond, despite the keyboard - is that even possible?
