Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 Screenshots
It sure would be nice to have the ability to customize the start button, indicators, and the bar transparencies out of the box... Maybe there will be updated menus finally as well.
A lot of people are saying this is fake though. Apparently the home icon is identical to something from osx.

Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 Screenshots
My opinion but this looks like too much of a change for Microsoft to call it 6.5. I would expect a facelift like this to be called WM 7 or Vista Mobile. If you look at WM6 and WM6.1 there is not that big of a difference as this is. I would like to see more meat than just the Today screen.

Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 Screenshots
Well, I won't assume these are legitimate images just yet, however, I agree with the statement made by wmpoweruser.com:
"It seems Microsoft has taken the call for eye candy on board, and everything looks large, bold and anti-aliased. In fact the UI bears a distinct resemblance to the Zune interface, suggesting to me Windows Mobile 6.5 will be coming with the Zune software after all." As a Zune owner, that thought crossed my mind as well when I saw the second screen shot. I certainly hope so! As for the first shot of the program navigation... it brings whole new meaning to joining the hive...

Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 Screenshots
I think TF3D makes those pics look silly. That looks like something I would upgrade FROM not to. Heck, SPB mobile shell "looks" better than that. IMO.
