correct, they are in stores however do not go on sale untill next week, i was in messing around with one today that my friend pulled out.

Okay, now that we have a release date for Alltel, then I can get excited about the Pro! I didn't know it was going to be that cheap either (that is, if it's roughly the same as the Diamond). I paid more than that for my HTC Touch if you include the rebate.

maybe the alltel version of the pro isn't riddled with errors =)

The battery life bites on both, I suggest extra batteries. I know I'll have at least two for the Pro when I get mine.

Pro still not in inventory, and none are listed for the market, so I'm guessing the 13th was incorrect.

Well, I called a tech today. After about a 30 minute conversation of exchanging HTC chit chat, he wrote my number down, and said he'd call on the first sign of any information about the Touch Pro. (Showed him the pic on the HTC site) He just now called me back, and has reported that the Touch Pro is due to be released on Nov. 22nd. And he also said that the tech also mentioned something about the HTC HD (HTC Touch HD) to be released maybe before Christmas. Take it as you read it, but I sure hope he's right!!!

I have the voicemail saved to prove it!

I didnt get the chance to stop by alltel to see if they got the htc pro. The alltel site has not posted anything up yet, altough the htc touch website actually has the phone...what a miracle...
