That link is "bogus" (no accurate information). It's only a place holder. I would like to know where the info on the dates of the phone came from, because: A. It's not on the portal, and there have been no internal memos on it, and B: A little birdie told me that they would be available sooner than that (a dude at CTF, seems that XBM equipment is already a go for both models).

My battery life sucks on teh Diamond , I hope they advance it on the pro. MAybe that is the delay

I know the pro battery life was rivaling the Q during testing. I'm hoping to find a standard profile higher capacity battery, quickly.

UPDATE: I'm slow on the uptake, we have a CBT on the Diamond, so any day now.

Correction to post, we got one in, live model hasn't arrived. Dang it, we got ONE. I do have one question for the OP...how are you getting the phone early? We've been told that we're not allowed any new equipment for 2 weeks after release. That's been policy for years now. I need to know what store you're in, so I can transfer. I'm going to hate to upgrade my personal just to get the Pro on time.

You can preorder the Alltel Diamond on Alltel's website. When take the Diamond to the shopping cart, it says "Preorder". When you click on "Preorder", it says the following. Again, w0rdie is the man with the correct release date and giving us the first look at the Diamond! Anyway, can I get this phone before 10/30???
