Is Instinct going to get the marketing/promotion that the touch diamond/pro deserve?

Its too bad sprint spent all that money on commercials on vs. an EOL phone. The 3g iphone fixes 95% of those issues they mocked the iphone for. So those commercials are a totally moot thing to have now and makes sprint just look silly and desperate. I hope to god thats not that $100 million dollar advertising at work, because its quite pathetic honestly and a waste of money

Sorry but the Instinct will still never be an iphone killer or have the reputation Apple with ATT bring to the party. Sprint name itself turns new customers off before they even see the phone. It still offers little the iphone doesnt offer and now the iphone does more corporate/smartphone features which customers want the Instinct cant do

I agree sprint had to know that apple was about ready to release the Iphone 3g about the same time. Sprint does look silly compairing it to the orginal iphone which id no longer for sale from att. So why would they compaire it to a product that is discontinued?

because sprint cant market themselves out of a carboard box no matter how much money they dump in. Their competition still will smoke them in advertising.

And theres things the new iphone can do better liek it has MS office support (none on Instinct), full exchange (Instinct is only partial at best), and a much better overall user experience.
But real point being marketing and perception is everything and if sprint cant comeptently show what it can do then no one will buy it! Apple/ATT have the name recognition working high for them, and Sprint has its own brand name worknig against them because of the bad reputation theyve built.

its not exactly the instinct plans....its just plans that support it...bassicaly any data plan and every everything plan will work....which alot of customers are switching to

The instinct does not come with wifi. In fact to get it activated you will have to switch to a plan that has an unlimited data attribute. The spokes woman for sprint said that to add wifi to the phone would be "redundant". The story is on CNET.
