Re: Possible Sprint Buy-out by Deutsche Telekom
Or DT could opt to use T-Mobile as the brand name (better percieved brand name than Sprint) and start migrating GSM subs that choose to over to CDMA and utilize the already existing Sprint 3G network. They would also have a larger footprint for capability to convert either netork (minus iDEN) over to WDCMA and LTE for 4G thus skipping a 3G build out. Just an opinion, that's all.

If something like that happened with my hypothetical idea I'm sure it wouldn't happen overnight. It would take some years to build up a 4G network. |

Re: Possible Sprint Buy-out by Deutsche Telekom
Your touch may not work but it they went GSM you could get a Touch Cruise or what ever fancy new one was available at that time.

Re: Possible Sprint Buy-out by Deutsche Telekom
The Touch you have is only compatible with Sprint's CDMA network. It will not work on any GSM network or any of the 4G networks.
What good would any of those high end phones be without HSPA? T-Mob is only GSM. |
