I'm sure we can all gripe, complain, and feel sorry for our phones.. But who's fault is it really. We could go to another company and get the services they have... Sprint obviously not going to do what the customers want. Its like they don't appreciate the people that places thier food on the table!!!

Sprint always does what can actually make them money, I'm sure if they shut it off intentionally they did so they could try to charge for it, the problem is that all of the power vision packs have unlim MMS/picture mail in them. Thus there is no way that they could actually make any money charging for an alternative service. This was probably another bright idea by John Garcia. The day he leaves the company is the day sprint emerges from the toilet. Lets just hope Hesse figures this out before it is too late.

Just file BBB complaints. Sprint responds to those really well.

There is nothing the BBB can do, it was never supported by sprint nor did they say it would be. Sprint has all the cards in their hands. It is up to them to let us use MMS on their service anytime soon.

I'm fairly certain Sprint has sold me a plan with unlimited MMS and has been misleading the public for quite some time about the capabilities (GPS) of the Mogul. At the least that warrants BBB complaints and class action lawsuits have been founded on less. The PPC phones using WM6 have the ability to run any program and based on the fact Sprint is selling us plans with MMS as a feature it should be included as a function when no where does it say PPC phones are not allowed to use the same MMS service.

Though you're spot about nothing the BBB can do is completely false. Sprint regards BBB complaints very highly and will do what they can to resolve them because BBB complaints is worse then losing another customer. One customer is only 2000$ in advertising but BBB is not only the customer but future and possibly [current] ones as well. I've used this route once before about six years ago with them when their customer service and technicians would do nothing.

Send these guys an email, let them know how you feel. Be sure to let them know it DID work... we DO pay for it, and it works on the same phone with every other carrier. Provide links to sprintusers, buzz about wireless, and here.

Calling leaving complaint to Gary Forsee

Update: Called the Gary Forsee # and reached the Executive Office and talked with Mondrell. He is researching the problem, he tried to tell me that it was because it was a WM PPC that our phones only use email service and that there is no way for MMS to work. And that because we are using a 3rd party hack that is not authorized by sprint that it could cause errors on our phones. I told him that the hack that allowed us to use our MMS was from Alltell 6800 which is also a CDMA company that there is no excuse that our phones cant also use MMS without a problem. He then asked where I was getting the information from online and I gave a list of all the sites that have anything to deal with sprint and the mogul/touch. I told him that this is a very hot dbate online and this is causing alot of hate and anger tword sprint. I hope I hear back some more from him.

I suggest more call this number and talk to Mondrell. Give him some more info. 866-727-0665
