Well, if they release a beta this year and plan on releasing the official next there will probably be a good race between they guys here and at xda vs. microsoft to see who can get the best build out the quickest.

I did care about this before yesterday, then I saw the Pre and webOS. I know its early and there's been no real indepth hands on but it looks very promising and offers many features WM can't touch.

Maybe this will entice Microsoft to get it out a bit earlier? I'm still a little interested.

Microsoft really needs to hurry this up. I would prefer an updated WinMobile to most other OSes but if they keep dragging their feet I'll have to go back to Palm.

even an oc-pc emulator can be extracted and then used on a ppc. also i can see a wmo7 being on our deviced this year. it might not be an official update or anything. but we will have it. one way or another.

look how soon we had wm 6.1 on titan and vogue. it took carriers how much longer to issue an update?
