Google to release open source software suite? - Android - SDK now available
Just ran across this on CNET. Still a ways off but it would be great to have open source software for future devices.

I'm definitely looking forward to this. I use Windows Mobile due to its file compatibility, customizablility, and open nature. Looks like this will have most, if not all, of the same. Assuming I don't lose access to anything important, I'll switch in a heartbeat.

well tonight my goal is to "play" with the sdk... then find another group of cdma dev's and work on building this into the mogul... but i wouldnt mind getting my hands on a fair share of that 10million google is offering for software . I think this will prolly be a long term project cause after the mogul my next phone will fully support android. What a great time to have a PPC.
