Call Issue possible fix!

Take out your sim card. I was having the dreaded call silence issue here and there so I troubleshooted the crap outa this thing. So far, the only fix I found is to remove your sim card. It has now been 4 days and not one issue!!

Re: Call Issue possible fix!

I've had this issue five times so far since I got the phone on the 1st of the month. It's weird because the phone doesn't ring through the ear piece or speaker phone. Only thing that fixes it is a restart.

Just curious... did you try what the OP suggested about removing the SIM card?

Some people say they had to pull the battery to get it to work right also. When this happened to me, I just had to hang up and call back. But it was annoying nontheless. I removed the sim card (I don't go anywhere out of the country so it's no big deal) to see if that maybe was the culprit. I had already removed my SD card, tested, and put it back in and that wasn't an issue. Once I removed the sim card, I have not had one silent call. I still have the proximity problem, but it seems it only happens when I have my BT on.

Re: Call Issue possible fix!

Welp, I have my Sim card still in my MoPho, and never had the silent call problem, or any type of call issue. Some say that GV is causing the issue too.....

Re: Call Issue possible fix!

I too have had this issue like almost all others. I have taken the SIM card out and will re-post if the problem persists. Thanks for the idea, OP.

Did you have GV ever installed?

U know, I uninstalled GV about the same time I took out my sim card and made sure that voicemail was set to carrier. But I recieved a phone call and voicemail just after and never got the voicemail cause it still went to GV. I had to go to GV settings on the PC and remove my phone from it's list. Since this though, my problems have been erraticated. I'm wondering if that was the whole problem all along?

Re: Call Issue possible fix!

OK, I am still experiencing the call silence issues even with the SIM card out of the phone.
