GPS, Friend/droid locators

I know there are other posts such as this in other areas but i cannot find one that will work on the droid. Even if there isnt one or its in the works, will there be or is there a app where u can view your contacts through gps without them having the app open/installed themselves?

I doubt it, latitude does that, but all of those GPS social networky tracker are opt-in only (I hope). I guess you could just ask Sprint for the info though if their with them.

Actually that might work, considering you must have a gmail for the droid..and a lot more people are hoppin on the google bagwagon. I thought i saw this like a year ago on some phone commercial so i was just wondering what is currently out there

you must be thinking of this ad from sprint. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfHid8AMfuo very similar to what google maps with latitude does. look out for skynet it's coming.
