Re: Home++ FTW

ONLY downside to Home++ besides some FCs is the fact that you can't install skins for it

I guess. I personally really dislike 95% of the themes that are on the market, so I'm not too disappointed

Same here, themes are a good idea, I just havent seen any that I like as much as the default stuff . I may have to learn how to make themes to get something I like. Then again, Android is really just taking off. I know its been here for a year, but there was only one phone available for most of that year. Android development has really just taken off within the last couple of months and development is growing exponentially now so hopefully we'll start seeing some good themes come out.

Question Re: Home++ FTW

Where did the yellow and green android Home++ background go in this update? I changed my background and can't find this one to put back now!

Yeah, it's gone. I was disappointed too. I actually wanted to change the yellow to a blue as well.

Re: Home++ FTW

If you guys have ANY questions, concerns, or ideas for Home++ I recommend you use the "Email the Developer" feature. He responds within a couple days and it isn't some form letter you get back, he actually responds to what you say. I asked about customizing the power strip and now we can (as he said in the email). Last time I emailed him, I asked if themes were planned in the future and he said they definitely are but speed, stability, and robustness were top priority. Seems like a cool guy.

True, true. I've been swapping emails with the developer for the last couple of days. He says he's thinking about released an app for the stock Android home that only allows for the addition of more screens. So, those of you who don't want the extra system bogging features, but do want the extra screens might be in luck.

Re: Home++ FTW

ooo that actually sounds pretty nice. My two favorite home replacements right now are Home++ and GDE because both give you a dedicated call button that doesn't use up an icon spot.
