Speech to Text SMS

Been looking around the marketplace for a nice Speech to Text program for composing SMS... cant find any that work even half way decent and I'm not about to pay for one i dont know works.

Any of you have a favorite program?

Handcent SMS works, but incoming SMS were unlocking my phone in my pocket. Probably a setting that can be changed, but it was a bad day for me to look for it (just lost my job) so I uninstalled for now.

Also, keep in mind that in the Android Marketplace you have 24 hours to return any and all apps for a full refund. I have tried more than a few paid apps and returned them for a refund because they werent quite what I was looking for, but it usually doesnt take me more than an hour to figure out if it's an app that I want to keep or not

Definatly try handcent. It works great now they have updated it and it is FREE!!! Just tap the mic pic and talk to it when prompted.

Oh i didnt know about the 1 hour refund rule, THANKS!

And i did download handcent. its the best so far, but still not as accurate as id like, ill hold out for upgrades though

It's even better , it's actually a 24 hour period that you have to return the apps . I was just saying that I'm usually able to decide within an hour or so. Definitely a good thing to know about.

It gets better on Dec. 11th. They changed the TOS to give us 48 hours for a refund.

SWEET! Two days should be more than enough time to test an app and decide if it's worth the price
