Re: hard/soft cases

I bought the 3 pack of screen protectors from Verizon and I love them!
They are smooth and clear and fit perfect, and prolly the easiest ones to install I did. That may be because of the Droids big flat face.

They also had a nice thin rubbery snap on case there to, but I had already had a leather holster that fits it pretty well so im sticking with it.

Re: hard/soft cases

And I'll assume no snap-on case would fit in either the home or car dock without having to be removed?
Does anyone know if it will fit in either of those with something like the Zagg shields?

I dont know for 100% sure but I figure they will, I plan on buying the zagg full body coverage and just not using the screen protector. Im really liking the VZW screen protector I bought

Re: hard/soft cases

I bought the body glove snap on case at the vzw store - and it is going back because the phone won't fit in the car dock I also bought (last one they had) with the body glove case. Also found that these snap on cases can get sand and stuff under them resulting in scuffing of the phone even though it is in a case (happend to my xv6800)

p.s. would like to find a nice stick on protector that will keep the phone shiny new underneath but not add much size as it is pretty perfect just the size it is.

Re: hard/soft cases

I bought the zagg invisishield for mine and installed it. Great as always and fits fine in the car adapter, so I'm sure it would fit the docking station as well.

Re: hard/soft cases

Yeah Zagg invisishield should fit in the dock no problems. The dock is very loose and forgiving, so anything that isnt a hard shell case shouldn't be that bad.

I bought that piece of crap bodyglove one and took it off after 30 minutes. Not only does it add substantial bulk and weight, it made sliding the keyboard a real chore. BTW taking it off was INSANELY hard. I thought I was going to break the top screen part off. I will be getting a Zagg for it though. I had one on my omnia and it was a little rough in the beginning but after about 2 weeks I believe it wore down and was nice and smooth. I want to get a case for it, but I just cant see myself getting a hard case that would add that much bulk to it.
