Re: Need some quick help with recovery mode
Ok. I got to the Android System Recovery menu, but at the bottom it says: E: Can't open/cache/recovery/command
I can only appy update, wip data, or wipe cache. |

Re: Need some quick help with recovery mode
Ok. I just flashed 2.0.5 and it froze up on initial boot. I pulled the batt and rebooted. It boots up now but it locks up almost immediately after sliding the unlocker over. WTF??? Why am I having all of these problems? My phone doesn't want to run anyway but stock. I think it's time for this thing to go back to Verizon (after putting it all back to stock and unrooting).

Maybe it's the luck of the draw with the Sholes mods. 2.0.2 and 2.0.3 are functional but terribly laggy and buggy for me. 2.0.5 is not even functional on my phone. The bad thing is that stock kicks all of their a$$es. Seeing that many of you have had good luck with the Sholes, I think much of this is specific to my particular phone. It is a replacement after all that was refurbished in 01/10. The original build is dated 45/09. That probably has nothing to do with it, but when I received the warranty replacement, the slider was already loose (tapping noise driving me insane) and the phone just doesn't feel built as well as my first one. It also lives in 1x mode 75% of the time. My original phone never dropped from 3G. This is a killer. I have another replacement on the way. Hopefully it won't be a POS like this one is. |
