Re: Droid does.......not

I am sure but it defies common sense that there is no ability to copy or cut a term from a google email actually loaded on this phone

much less be unable to highlight and google search it without having to login to the google email account via the browser..... and I havent tried it yet but at best thats "iffy".... to see if it can happen there

I just wrote it on paper and manually typed it in the google provided search feature

bleh

Oh, I'm not familiar with how exacly copy & paste works - I thought it worked everywhere though? Using the physical keyboard?

Re: Droid does.......not

Volume settings....... am I the only one that thinks the alarm should have a setting divorced from media settings? Does it work that way and I just and too inept to make it happen?

Is there an app to lock the alarm volume at full volume regardless if media is at a lower setting?

I could not make cut or copy in gmails loaded onto the device work with either keyboard

That is a serious problem.

Anyone that downloads yahoo to a droid have the same issue?

I have anal glaucoma in regards to paying for any apps that are bandaids to make this thing work like it should.

Sounds like the "Droid Does Not" for you. Just return it - are you in your 30day window still?

Re: Droid does.......not

Oh I love both of them, especially the one that actually works.

I just find it amazing that retail consumers could find some of these issues acceptable.

No excuse for many of them.

You love both of what?

.. and if you are finding it hard to believe retail customers could put up with no copy and paste in some apps, there is a precedent for that ... lol
