What phone are you coming from?

I have been a loyal Windows Mobile user at least since 2003, maybe even before that. I am leaving http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-pro-2/ for android. Windows Mobile 7 doesn't look all that appealing. So far I am very pleased. It is taking some getting use to but android seems really solid.

One thing that threw me off was how to set a schedule for when to sync email. In windows mobile this is with the email settings. In android this is with the battery settings.

Re: What phone are you coming from?

I came from the HTC Imagio, which I absolutely LOVED once I was able to get and Energy ROM and then Project Teya on. Wonderful, solid little phone.

That is subjective based on the person's wants and needs. Keep in mind you are in an Android forum here so there will be bias.

Question Re: What phone are you coming from?

still running my TP2, but right now I think this phone is the front runner as a replacement. Also considering the Thunderbolt, but no 4G anywhere near my area...

Re: What phone are you coming from?

I switched from the Touch Pro 2. I'm very satisfied. After a few tweaks and launcherpro, this thing is a beautiful powerhouse.

Re: What phone are you coming from?

I came from a HTC Trophy to my present Droid X2 and I miss my Trophy very much. If anyone wants to trade a Trophy for a Droid X2, rooted with Gingerbreak; let me know via PM.

Re: What phone are you coming from?

Coming from the Evo, 1 things that is going to take some getting used to are the hardware buttons along the bottom of the screen. They actually have to be pressed instead of just touched, and the home and menu buttons are reversed.

I am also coming from the Imagio. Energy did a great job but man that poor phone was underpowered.
