Re: Update help
I would recommend following these instructions...
TBH Patches: 2.3.340-System, Baseband, 2.3.340-Kernel, Bootloader That updates everything to where it should be After that, I highly recommend grabbing RubiX Focused ROM.... rubiX Focused 1.9.0 Leak/Non-Leak - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum *Make sure you grab the leak (for 2.3.34 if thats what your on) RubiX Focused has absolutley NO blur... What does this mean? Just like Manila on top of Windows Mobile, it's Motorola's BLUR on top of Android... Its motorola's version of how they want things laid out.. From widgets, to Phone, to just about all device... This make for a lot of FLUFF... You can get the job done just fine without it. With blur stripped off you are left with a very clean and powerful device.. Now that market is connected with google sync all the apps you had prior to factory reset will be restored This means that after factory reset the only thing you have to do is enter passwords and relayout home screens... Also, RubiX is getting another update this week hopefully.. I am on it now because i am a beta tester and im porting my BigDX Serenity theme to it. It is so sweet.. Faster than you ever could have imagined.. It has gingerbread in it and works like a dream... New market, many window animations from screen to screen, awesome battery life, and on and on.. They also have a Blurry RubiX if that interest you.. is in same thread as post above... If neither interest you then the first link should get you back going... |

Re: Update help
sorry to hijack this thread...
can anyone here help me? yes I'm lazy & I don't know a thing about android. But I'm willing to donate for the quick fix... A friend has a Droidx & would like to WiFi tether to her xoom, she's on Verizon. Is there a cab or app (whatever it's called for 'droid) so she can install to keep the phone stock? I've got a TP2 with Energy, I spend my free time on that thread & I'm too lazy (busy) to research & start to understand the 'droid right now. Thanks in advance, Raymond Last edited by Hover-Shuttle; 04-21-2011 at 11:15 PM. |
