OK so probably a simple problem. But I can't save my contacts on here after updating the new ROM. I have the pim file, and usually just rename the existing pim file to pim.vol past mine and reset. but its not taking. Any help? There's the pim backup/restore program but when I look for it. the program only recognizes folders, not files. Thanks

Yeah, it will. Everybody on the EnergyROM thread says it will.

Hey all,

Sorry I'm new to this and was browsing this forum and thought it was a good idea to try out CMYLXGO's EnergyROM Pimp Package[v.2.3.2]

Downloaded it onto my computer, transferred the file over to my phone (HTC Touch Pro 2), installed it and everything, then let the phone self reset. After loading up, the screen is just black/blank, and not responding to anything.

The lights on the call/end call switch light up, but are not functional, but no way to turn the phone off without manually removing the battery pack. I restart it and same thing happens again.

Anyway to fix it, or did I do something wrong?

Please help!! I just got this phone yesterday

Hey Man ... this was built to go with NRG's custom roms. In order to make it work, you will need to unlock your phone, flash the custom rom, and then install. If you've never done this before, it would be a good idea for you to go read the stickies on the upgrade forums. I don't have a TP2, but I think that the unlocker has not been finalized as we speak. You should probably just do a hard reset on your new phone, and be patient. Hope this helps.

Did a reset and downloaded the right cab files to install.
Works fine now!

Anyone mind saying which ones from TP2 work? Don't feel like having to hard reset it...again
