Then I would go to the setting tab and the wallpaper selection and select YES to go back to the default wallpaper and all would be great. Now I can't get rid of the default wallpaper on the Home screen. It is gone initially when I install the cab but then it comes back when I copy my files to windows. Then I can't get rid of it and it really slows down sliding between tabs a lot!! I hope someone will have an answer to this. I love Gen Y Panoramic cab!!

What files are you copying? You only need 67ea4038_manila, 67fc58b9_manila, 680e713a_manila for portrait and 6832a23c_manila, 6844babd_manila, and
682089BB_manila for landscape. Overwriting those files should not cause you to get the default background. Just for clarity, you:

1) installed panoramic cab
2) installed move down fix cab (I'm not sure if it's still needed wit nrg's rom)
3) chose to use default background
4) copied the 6 manila files above to get the image you want, restart manila

It may be nrg changed more things in his rom that make the panoramic mod not work. It was made using yoztag's ported manila, which nrg customizes heavily.

***EDIT - I just looked at nrg's thread, and he has several cabs to return certain things to stock in post #3 of his TP thread. One of them is the background. Have you tried installing that cab before installing the panoramic cab?

Re: [VGA]Manila 2.1 Panoramic Background v2b

mwalt2,

Thanks for the help. I used WinCE and modified the cab with my panoramic background manila files. It is working fine now. I don't know why but if I copy new panoramic manila files after loading the cab the Home background will not change. With them installed via the cab it works fine. I've not read about anyone else having this problem so it must be a conflict with something else I have loaded.

Re: [APP][VGA]Panoramic Background for Gen.Y Manila 2.1

Cabs for backgrounds I've made. Click image to download and restart manila/phone once cab is installed:
Most contain portrait and landscape cabs, so you can choose which you want. The zip contains cabs and larger .jpg to preview before install if you wish. Preview is portrait mode, landscape may be cropped.

First of all, thanks for all of your hard work and dedication to this forum. I have installed and reinstalled the pano cab with the extras 3 times and installed all of the cabs for the above pano wallpapers, turned off TF3D, restarted, installed while tf3d off and turned back on, everything i know how to change to the pano wallpapers, but the one included with the pano cab in post #1 is still there. Any ideas?

Your phone is WVGA and this mod is for VGA phones. You can find a WVGA mod that may work from rotastrain at xda. You can find a link in post#2 at the bottom.

Make sure you install to device and not storage card/internal memory. There are cabs for both portrait and landscape, so pay attention to what ones you are installing.

GREAT WORK HERE...
Are you using the stock ROM (I'm unclear)? The touchflo version is not the manila version. The white screen is because this mod is make to work for the Gen.Y manila 2.1 port from yoztag. His port supports cfc-compression and the stock manila (manila 1.x) does not, so you see the white. Lucky for you, I made a cab for the stock rom just the other day . You can find it here. That cab does not contain any backgrounds, so install the cabs from post #2 in this thread after you've installed the cab for stock manila. Also, you will not have landscape support since the stock manila only has the one screen with the buttons on it (from what I remember). It should work fine in portrait for you though.

Big thanks! I hated the green +...kinda defeats the purpose IMHO.
