1) make sure you have openSSH installed on your phone

2) make sure it is enabled (install SBsettings from cydia for easy toggle)

3) if you are trying to SSH via wifi it should work fine, if you are using USB Cable make sure you use the itunnel command found in the post in my sig.

lemme know if this worked.

yeah you have to use the included itunes file AND the batch file, run the batch file.

Also copy the "Lockdown" from

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple\

and paste into

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Apple Computer\

username is the name you use to login.

let me know if this worked.

yes! good job =D>

the folders on the left are your personal files, the folders on the right are the iphone folders.

you navigate the iphone folders to put whatever you want in them, for instance your put all of your Themes in the theme folder so that winterboard can load them, you put your ringtones in the ringtone folder to use them, and you can put vwallpapers in the correct folders for custom video wallpapers. If you are on a 2G/3G you can use "Cycorder" to record videos and you SSH to retrieve the videos.

what specifically are you trying to do?

you got it to work earlier what did you change?

1) ensure you have SSH toggled on from you iphone

2) In settings, change screen lock to "never" so your screen stays on while SSHing

3) make sure you have the itunnel running via the batch file

it should work again.

You can do anything you want basically. for right now I would use it to install themes and ringtones. If you want to do something else that is not described in this forum, let me know and we'll get you going.

also, which Iphone are you using? (2G, 3G, 3GS)?
