Re: Steve's Imagio Manila ROM v1.2

I tried the new ROM V2 and really like it.

With the new ROM, I'd like to change the End Key (Red) button to End Phone Call or Close/Exit current app and assign the EndKey program to Long Hold down red End Key(Red) button". Is there any way to do this?

Thanks.

I am here just dealing with some family things. Wife going in for total hip replacement in a week.

I am continuing to fine tune v2. Most things are of a cosmetic variety. I am going to open up a new post for v2.

Steve - I am sorry to here about your wife. I will say a prayer for her and your family (seriously). Certainly roms are the least to think about.

I will update this posting with the updates once they are validated and uploaded. This will be the last preview, as I am just about ready to release v2.

Steve
I wasn't sure what post you meant you would be updating by the above quote. I assumed it was the above? But now I figure you were unable to update because of your circumstances.

God's grace on you and yours.

Re: Steve's Imagio Manila ROM v1.2

I'm liking this rom alot, however I'm having one major problem. It appears as if Google Maps is unable to use triangulation, or GPS. I've set the Location Setting to Location On, obviously instead of E911 only, but I'm not sure what else I'm missing.

Thanks,
--IslesFan

EDIT: I'm using v1.2 of the ROM. The weather tab is pulling my location correctly however.

Re: Steve's Imagio Manila ROM v1.2

Found an answer:
As per http://www.google.com/support/forum/...d1861abe&hl=en

You have to add the following reg keys:
Code:
in HKLM\software\google\googlemaps
add this : supports_extended_ril=1 (String Value)
and this : supports_extended_wifi=1 (String Value)

Hey Steve- I hope all is going well with your wife's recovery.

Can you tell me which radio version you are using? I am using a rom and I drop calls all day long. I was hoping to try a different radio.

thanks.

Wife is doing really well thanks for the wishes everyone. She is at a rehab facility but walking well with a walker at this point. Its amazing to think she had the surgery 10 days ago!

As to the radio I am using it is the stock VZW radio that came with the MR1 upgrade. It has worked well for me, and I really have not seen any other radios.

V2 is still a work in progress. At the same time my wife went under the knife I also got a new job. I am now designing cloud computing solutions for tier 1 financials in NYC....awesome job.

Stay tuned...v2 will come.

Good to hear all is going well with your family (and V.2).

As for different radio versions there is a thread in this upgrade forum with 4 (i think) different radios for the Imagio and instructions on how to flash them.
