Pardon my ignorance and for not letting a dead horse lie, but to edit do you mean to rename each so the black dial pad will show up instead of the white? Sorry, and thank you again.

The ones attached are the original..(White Normal/Black when pressed), if you want to edit it and apply your own mod (Photoshop, etc...) you can... after editing... just copy it to \Windows inside the phone, that will overwrite the ones already cooked in....

The data problem was fixed already on 1.4... should not have any problems with the rom... please test it!

Did you try installing the new version available at the verizon website (homepage of IE), let me know if it works, i probably can update the rom with that version...(remember, im not on verizon)

The more likely one was:

HKLM\Software\HTC\PHONE\PhoneExtendSetting\Support VibrateInPressKeyPad
which I changed from 0 to 1

The other I changed was:

HKLM\Software\OEM\KeyState\APPLICATION_BTN_VIBRATE 1

was set to 12 with the new ROM but was 28 previously so I changed it to 28.


Anyway haptic (vibrating) feedback has returned to my messaging apps.

other than opera 9.7 there's nothing I'd change. I like the bling of com 5 builds but suspect some of the stability come from there

Not yet, unfortunatelly im not planning to do so... its already a pain to find time and update 6 versions of the one with 2.5 (which is running pretty smooth i guess, as fast as a 2.1 maybe...)
