This rom is seriously quick, stable and smooth. I've tried every rom out there and so far this is the best (for me).

hmm this is odd. the new RC 1.2 worked fine, but for some reason, the data connection stopped working after a few hours.
I'm going to hard-reset again and see if I can duplicate this issue.

The Rom doesn't have any relation to the data not working , I have been running the ROM for 7 hours and the data is working fine , no problems whatsoever.

noticed a flaw tonight, while setting up email accounts through the email app (not the email tab) it froze up on me every time it would send/receive. Using the sense email tab works fine. had to do battery pull three times! Really weird. other than that it's great. love the battery lifespan on this too.
on a separate note, check out pocketnow.com, theres a htc utility program that turns off data connection. great addition to have. Last edited by coolpoete; 04-11-2010 at 03:12 AM. |

Battery Drain . Some people just don't don't want the data on when they are not using it. I just turn mine off when it's not needed.

I am really liking this rom. Big improvement over the RC1.1 that I was using previously. It is a lot faster, Sense 2.5 isn't freezing like it did before, the battery life is getting me through a whole day on moderate use, and it doesn't seem to slow down through the day.
But it still does have a few issues that are bugging me... 1) Wi-Fi Tethering does not work unless I install an old cab that I have from a few months ago to overwrite whatever version you're using. 2) Any time I go to the homescreen, it is an hour and two minutes off. And then the clock flips to the correct time right away. 3) Activesync through USB just doesn't work. It didn't on RC1.1 either. It keeps thinking I want to internet share, even though I have it set to ActiveSync. |
