I had the same problems with september 29th nrg roms. And I just flashed back with earlier veersions like september 18th and the problem is gone! it might be some problems with sept 29th rom! I tryed 2 versions same flash error. flashed back older version no problem!

i got a flash error too. but since i dont have an older verison i just tried to reinstall the stock and that wont even work. any ideas? or am i bricked

You should still be able to flash the stock ROM. If your phone worked like mine, it was stuck on the screen that shows the download progress % when the PC reported the flash error.

To flash again you just need to get into the bootloader. To enter bootloader, pull out the battery and reinstall it. Then hold down the "volume down" button while you press and hold the power button. Hold both buttons down until the phone displays the multi color bootloader screen. Then fire up whatever ROM flash you are using. As long as the phone is at the bootloader screen and attached to the PC with the USB cable the flash loader should find it OK.

I'm getting the flash error trying to upgrade too. Glad to see it's not just me. The phone is not bricked. I just had to use the Whitestone Hard SPL program and it reset to the version I had before. I believe it's the same program you use to flash your phone before you can put in any roms. Hopefully this is a really simple problem that the developer can find and fix quickly.

21916 ref rom got a flash error as well. Just reflash it with an older version. Flash was done using microsd card.

ya i got it working thanks, i tried with just using usb and that didnt work so i put it on my sd and it worked

anyone know what is happening with this version ? with rom September 29th! I tried 2 flash versions Same error. Older version flashed back no problem.

is to become a 1% mark after error, and recovered by removing the battery and put that above any other old ROM.
happening? there is something wrong with this new version of September 29?
