I am not able to link to my computer by active sync anymore. I don't know how to flash back to an older ROM to fix the problem when I can't connect. I tried bootloader, but still can't get connected.

Can anyone walk me through how to fix this step by step? I want to update to the most recent ROM, currently I am running the one from 6/22.

Turn the phone off and then press the Volume Down + power button and that'll take you to the "tri-colored" screen and then you can flash any ROM you want.

Thanks for the quick response, i get to that screen, but when I connect the phone to my usb port at that screen it still doesn't see it and says the device isn't recognized. how do I flash the new ROm without the physical connection.

sorry for my lack of knowledge, i really do appreciate the help. What do I do now?

Are you plugging into a USB hub or ports on the back of the PC motherboard? Try connecting to different USB ports, particularly those on the back of the PC directly on the motherboard. Those typically are more reliable.

Add it to the exclusion list in Bitdefender? I assume it has something like that.

I just updated to the DinikGlass.Jun.29 and now my VVM is complaining about a missing data connection but the data connection looks fine. Any ideas?

1. go to (settings), (connections)
2. click the (advanced) tab
3. then click (select networks)

10. Close out of the internet and start VVM
