Interesting, because I flashed both the 23544 MaxManilla and Cookie and provisioned as Verizon, cab installed, soft reset and still have Ev icon.

Voice Dialing

Anyone know how to get voice dialing to work? It does not appear to be an assignable option to the buttons. I would prefer it to be the same as the original ROM (long press of call).

You need to install voice command first... see first post.

That doesn't seem to work for me. I installed the cab but can't get it to connect to the Verizon VVM service. I get the following error:

Code:
No network connection is available to contact the voicemail server. Do you want to access your voicemail by calling *86 ?
I'm using 23544 with Cookie Monster. Anyone get VVM to work this this ROM?

Also, when activesync retrieves the pushed email from our Exchange server, if the mail tab is selected, the number of emails (either read or unread) doesn't increment. Not a big deal but it did increment in the default Verizon ROM.

Not sure if this is a fix or not but I had some problems with the clock, the minute part wouldn't flip right so here are some steps to what I did and now it works well:

EDIT: Apparently installing the original white clock cab fixes the issue for me.

I hope that helps someone out there.

I get the same error when trying to use VVM as well. I'm running the Titanium version ROM.

Mine works. Just installed the cab from the link in this thread and of course provisioned for Verizon after flashing the ROM. Put in my PIN and it works fine.
